Business Expo
In November 2023 we held our 2nd Annual Business Expo at The Stage. Twenty-five local businesses set up tables and displayed their products and services to the Expo visitors while The Stage served delicious, passed appetizers. Some of the exhibitors offered business service raffle prizes or products. Everyone enjoyed the event, and we raised over $6500 for our Foundation
Casino Night
The first annual Steve Agius Casino night, held December 10_2023 from 6-9PM at The Stage Restaurant and Nightclub, was a success. Raising a little over $10,000 for local charities, Gift of Life International and The Wheelchair Foundation. We had close to 100 participants attend the event. The top winner, Mike Rusk was able to obtain over $1,000,000 (funny money to exchange for donated prizes) to claim the prize he wanted (A custom made doll house for his daughter). A total of 3 top prizes and 12 raffle baskets were available to the top 15 money winners.

Let's show some support for the memory of Steve Agius's favorite charities!!!
During all of 2024, we have been running a fundraiser in which, each month, we raffle off $250 worth of gift cards which were generously donated by 40 restaurants in our area. Because of these generous donations, and of course our generous raffle participants, we were able to raise over $8,000 to help fight food insecurity in our area.
Just Soups Cookbook
Together with 3 other Rotary Clubs in our area, we developed a cookbook, filled with 55 different soup recipes chosen by our members. Sold by members, as well as by some local participating restaurants, our fundraiser raised about $6,000 for a variety of local charities of each club’s choosing.
Pasta for Polio
Did you know that October 24th is World Polio Awareness Day? For the past three years, a club member has created fundraiser to support Rotary’s Polio Eradication Awareness. With her love of cooking Italian food, every year she takes orders for her Gravy (sauce) with Sausage and Meatballs which she delivers on this important day. Members nearly purchased 40 containers each year. After year one, she expanded her repertoire by offering Lasagna for Thanksgiving.
Another successful fundraiser! In total last year, with the matching funds offered by the Gates Foundation, we raised $26,000.
Needless to say these fundraisers are now an annual event. How many containers of Gravy and trays of Lasagna will she sell this year? Buon Appetito!
Pints With a Purpose
In the spirit of being “beneficial to all”, this annual fundraiser raises money for Rotary Areas of Focus, promoting Local Businesses in our Bonita/Estero Community, and fostering social. interactions by Bringing People Together.
We’ve partnered with five local breweries who are each donating one pint of beer for each glass that is sold. Each year will focus on a different Area of Focus (starting with Environment), and proceeds will be used to support our community. When a glass is purchased for $25, you’ll receive one free pint of beer per brewery during the calendar year. The breweries for 2025 are:
